Ezra: Barghouti Won’t be PA Minister [Unless US Demands It]

“The government won’t allow jailed Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti to serve as a minister in the Palestinian Authority following Wednesday’s elections for the Palestinian Legislative Council, Internal Security Minister Gideon Ezra told The Jerusalem Post on Monday.”
“‘He won’t be a minister from prison. How can he be a minister from prison?’ Ezra said. ‘There is someone sitting in jail who has been elected mayor of Kalkilya. [Do you think] he serves as the mayor of Kalkilya? He is in jail.'”
Commentary;
This blog has stayed away from any news or discussion of Wednesday’s “pa(sic)” elections aside from previous posts regarding Barghouti which have predicted that the demand will be made for his freedom and that Israel, as with the border crossings from Gaza and everything else since the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif and the Shomron towns, will comply. It was also predicted (or rather hoped) that if Israel meekly submits, as it caved-in on the Rafah “agreements” and Barghouti is freed (presumably to save Fatah’s cookies from Hamas), that his release will be part of a swap with the Jews winning Jonathan Pollard’s release to live in Israel.
Understand that this author sees no difference between the “pa(sic)”, Fatah, Hezbullah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc. They are seen as one and as one, they still seek the destruction of Israel and death to the Jews. MB
