IDF to Cease Enforcement of Hevron Closed Military Zone
Excerpt;
“The State High Court ruled that those Jewish families could be moved out, because certain paperwork had not been completed before they moved into the homes, in the Shalhevet neighborhood.”
What “certain paperwork had not been completed”? MB
Army to Relax Enforcement in Hebron
Full Text;
“The IDF was going to stop enforcing the “closed military zone” rules in Hebron on Thursday morning, in light of the calm that has recently replaced the violence.”
“If the tensions resurface, the army will intensify its responses yet again, the military said.”
Commentary;
The same despicable message is given out yet again to the Jewish Community of Chevron by the Regime’s army in words unspoken yet felt; “this land is not yours, you are here only by our favor.” This was the unspoken message behind the two soldiers at Seudah Sh’lish’t of Shabbos before Rosh Hoshana[1] and again with their harrassment of vendors during Chol HaMoed Succot[2].MB
For Context, read the following quotes from one of this author’s previous Parsha HaShevuas designated by [1] and a Report on Chol HaMoed in Chevron [2].
[1] As Seudah Sh’lish’t time came, Two soldiers attempted to disrupt and disperse a group of Chevron residents whom I joined with for Seudah Sh’lish’t, in the plaza outside the Ma’arat HaMachpela, to honor the 3 families from Shi-Rat HaYam. After heaps of scorn were thrown upon them by the residents and myself, the soldiers departed, not to be heard from again. But the hidden message was driven home — that the Army perceives that we are only in Chevron at the pleasure of the government and the army.
Will those attempting to impose expulsion upon their fellow Jews in the Shalchevet neighborhood of Chevron be from among the very soldiers I passed while in Chevron? From the same two soldiers harrassing the group at Seudah Sh’lish’t?
[2] The day was only slightly marred by Israeli police being Israeli police, totally lacking in any semblance of Jewish feeling and sensitivity, harrassing a vender near the Gutnick Hall.
Just as with the Seudah Sh’lish’t on the Shabbos before before Rosh Hashana where two soldiers attempted to disrupt and disperse a group of Chevron residents with whom I joined for the seudah in the plaza outside the Ma’arat HaMachpela, to honor the 3 families from Shi-Rat HaYam, the police approached this vendor with the same attitude. The hidden message was driven home: You are here, you are living here at our pleasure. MB
Police & Border Police to Implement Hevron Expulsion
Full Text;
“Authorities report that police and border police will implement the Hevron expulsion from the marketplace area, not army troops.”
“IDF soldiers will, however, be deployed around the perimeter to ensure opponents to the expulsion do not reach the area.”
Commentary;
As with Gush Katif, but on a smaller scale, they mobilize before a War Offensive! A War Offensive against the Jews! MB
Hevron Expulsion to Follow PA Elections
Excerpts;
“It appears that even if the High Court of Justice gives the green light for the expulsion of Jews from unauthorized areas of Hevron, the expulsion from the former Arab marketplace area will not take place until following the Palestinian Authority (PA) elections on 25 January.”
“Galei Tzahal (Army) Radio reported early Thursday morning that the government does not want to become involved in an expulsion of Jews from their homes while the PA prepares to go to the polls.”
Olmert Follows Sharon’s Expulsion Example
Eldad: Olmert’s Campaign Gimmick is “Bash the Settlers”
Excerpt;
“‘Olmert is inciting towards a civil war as part of his election campaign,’ said Eldad, a former Chief Medical Officer of the IDF. “The issue [in Hevron] could be resolved through a legal compromise, but Olmert prefers to ignore this option. The 200 boys who were in Hevron [over the past few days] have already left the city, but Olmert still continues to bash the Jewish Community there with all his strength – with the assumption that this will net him political gains.’”
Man plans, G-d laughs!
