“Channel 1 TV reports that 100,000 protestors are currently in Zion Square. The police commander of the Jerusalem Zion District announced at 8:15 PM that 90,000 protestors<\/strong> had gathered to take part in the protest against Ehud Olmert and the police brutality at Amona last Wednesday.”<\/p>\n

“Right-wing rally organizers have consistently charged that police-estimates of rally attendance are lower than the actual number present.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

“In any event, the Yesha Council has expressed satisfaction with the turnout, considering the protest was planned only days in advance.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Sunday evening at 7 PM, a large protest will take place<\/strong> at Jerusalem’s Zion Square under the slogan ‘Olmert is Bad for the Jews,’ demanding an investigation into the police violence at Amona last week.<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

“Activists in northern Israel are planning a simultaneous rally, calling upon activists to ‘leave you homes now to shout the warning: Olmert is dangerous for Israel.’<\/strong> The protest will take place at the Golani Junction.” <\/p>\n

“Many protestors plan on arriving with bandages on their heads in identification with the Amona protestors.” <\/strong><\/p>\n
