Hevron Sources Report IDF Preparing to Expel Jews From Mitzpeh Shalhevet<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

“Hevron sources report that security forces have begun mobilizing in preparation for the planned expulsion of the Jewish families living in the Mitzpeh Shalehevet neighborhood.<\/strong>” <\/p>\n

“‘A camera has been placed atop an army post tower on the Abu-Sneneh hills, facing the Mitzpe Shalhevet neighborhood<\/strong>, and a Riot Squad force member was seen entering another guard tower located at Gross Square, also equipped with cameras<\/strong>,’ Hevron activists report.”<\/p>\n

“Mitzpeh Shalhevet was established following the murder of 10-month-old Shalehevet Pass by a Palestinian sniper, on land owned by Jews prior to the Arab massacres of Hevron’s Jews in 1929.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Community members are urging the public to come to Hevron <\/strong>for mass prayers at 3:30 PM Tuesday and to come with equipment to stay ‘for the long haul’ beginning on Wednesday. Activists say the events are part of a three-pronged plan to save the neighborhood.<\/strong>”<\/p>\n
