The Daily Alert<\/strong><\/a>, prepared by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, posts that according to Minister Haim Ramon; <\/strong> Hamas prisoner demands constitute an ultimatum for Israeli surrender<\/strong><\/a> in a translation of a Voice of Israel Radio-Hebrew report:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Israeli Minister Haim Ramon, a member of the Ministerial Committee on Security Prisoners, told Israel Radio Thursday that Hamas did not negotiate over the release of prisoners but rather presented an ultimatum for Israeli capitulation.<\/p>\n

Ramon emphasized that two-thirds of Hamas prisoners released in the past had returned to terror and murdered many Israelis.<\/strong> <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That the Israeli government dared give such a capitulation ultimatum the dignity of public exposure, consideration and deliberation at both the governmental and cabinet levels ought to curdle our blood. In doing so, they’ve expressed, in no uncertain terms, weakness to an enemy bent on our annihilation, thereby emboldening them even more. <\/p>\n
