“Following the approval of the amendment, MK Omri Sharon who was convicted last week for taking illegal donations for his father Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s Likud primaries campaign in 1999, may plea for a reduced sentence in his trial. Sharon was convicted of taking donations in excess of NIS 6 million, which is six times more than the former limit, but only three times more than the newly-approved limit on donations.”<\/strong><\/p>\n
