Olmert: ‘Never Again’<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert declared at a Knesset meeting Sunday that Israel would not stand by and allow the world to ignore a threat to the Jewish people.<\/p>\n

\u00d6\u00b2“We won’t let the world forget again, through indifference and silence, the threat to the Jewish people,\u00d6\u00b2” he said. Olmert\u00d6\u00b2’s remarks were made in reference to the growing concern that Iran will complete its nuclear development of a weapon of mass destruction and make good on President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad\u00d6\u00b2’s vow to wipe the State of Israel off the map. <\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Commentary;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prime Minister Olmert is off on another of his boasting tangents,<\/strong><\/a> in once-again usurping the phrase “Never Again” from proud Jews, such as Rav Meir Kahane Z’l. Notice the comma, for it’s unthinkable to mention Olmert in the same breath as a true Tzaddik. And notice that this is not the first time Olmert has mis-used this phrase which signifies Jewish pride, esteem, self-worth and willingness themselves to fight to insure survival, not depending on third-parties, third nations, or superpowers for “peace-keeping” or protection.. <\/p>\n

Here’s a short list of a number of instances where Olmert used the phrase recent months;<\/strong> (1),<\/strong><\/a> (2),<\/strong><\/a> (3),<\/strong><\/a> (4).<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

But this latest utterance by Olmert reminds this author of the mad ravings on American TV prime time of certain “Pro” Wrestlers such as “The Nature Boy” whose ramblings included gems like; “To be da man, you got to beat da man”, “To talk The talk, you gotta walk the walk” as these phonies with their ketchup “blood” play out their make-believe, scripted dramas before those enthralled with the “comic-athleticism-mock violence” as it unfolds on their boop-tubes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/center><\/p>\n

But here in Israel, we’re not dealing with make-believe, ketchup and cauliflour ears, we’re dealing with reality, national security and survival.<\/p>\n

Ehud Olmert has reduced “Never Again” from pride and self-initiative to trash talk and the<\/strong> “too tired” dependence on everyone else but the national collective-self<\/strong> <\/a>to insure Israel’s and Jewish security. <\/p>\n
