Environment Minister Gideon Ezra also said there were “more important” things to discuss now than the convergence plan.

On Wednesday, MK Uri Ariel (NU-NRP) filed a bill to disperse the 17th Knesset and call for early elections.

“Given the general public atmosphere desiring a change of government, it seems that the cabinet no longer has a coalition majority,” said MK Nissan Slomiansky (NU-NRP).

MKs: Convergence May be PM’s Undoing By Sheera Claire Frenkel (Jerusalem Post) Excerpts; The convergence plan that served as a cornerstone of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s rise to office may lead to his downfall, members of the coalition said Wednesday. “If you asked me now what could break up the coalition, I would say convergence,” […]

["post-1591","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry
["GET
