After months of constant bombardment from Kasssam rockets, the city of Sederot finally received a visit by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Tuesday morning. <\/p>\n

Olmert made the visit on his way to the Negev Conference in Be’er Sheva. He was accompanied by Defense Minister Amir Peretz and other officials.<\/p>\n

Olmert met with Mayor Eli Moyal for 15 minutes and then continued on to the conference.<\/p>\n

Some residents felt slighted by the short visit. “He only came here because of the Negev Conference, otherwise he wouldn’t even have come. We will bring him down in the next elections. It is a disgrace that he shows up for such a short time and then leaves us in enemy territory,” one Sederot native said.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
